What is the Kodi Edition Raspberry Pi Case?

Our second generation case reimagined and redesigned with the Kodi Team. The perfect home for your new Raspberry Pi running Kodi, it's unique, special, and in limited quantity. The case was designed to not only be functional for your Raspberry Pi, but to be drop dead gorgeous. It's made of beautiful aluminum core that is sandwiched between two black, soft touch shells that feel amazing in your hands. But once it's out of your hands, it blends in with your entertainment system.

Still manufactured from aluminum, it’s cloaked in metallic jet black, and will be a beautiful addition for your living room. But the devil is in the details. The top edge is polished, and anodized silver which creates a mirror like finish that hugs the top branded soft touch plastic.

We included rubber feet to raise the enclosure so it just hovers underneath your television. In addition to the built in heat sink, small ventilation slots on the bottom help keep the Raspberry Pi cool. GPIO pins are accessible through the slot on the bottom of the case and there is no need for disassembly to get to the SD card. We know you will love the attention to detail we put in throughout the case.

Can I access the SD Card?

Yes, the SD card is accessible through a slot on the front of the case.

Can I see the Raspberry Pi's LEDs?

Yes, there is a tiny cutout on the front of the Raspberry Pi where the LEDs shine through. It's so elegantly hidden, you can't tell it's a cutout.

What Raspberry Pi models does it support?

Only the B+, we don't have any plans for more Raspberry Pi cases.

Why did you make a Raspberry Pi case?

Flirc is one of the best selling items for the Raspberry Pi. We haven't only been concentrating on Flirc, we've been concentrating on enhancing media centers and their experiences. We've got more coming.

What does the case come with?

The case comes partially assembled. The top plastic piece is assembled to the aluminium housing. All you need to do is put your thermal pad on, drop your Raspberry Pi inside the case, and screw the bottom of the case on with the included.

Does the case come with a Raspberry Pi?

The case does not come with a Raspberry Pi.

Does it come with an SD or a Power Supply?

No, the case doesn't come with these, but we will be working on a very affordable kit.

Will I be able to overclock my Raspberry Pi?

Yes, the built in heat sink acts as a heat spreader allowing you to get more speed out of your Raspberry Pi.
